There is nothing better than being out in a blind or up on the side of a mountain waiting to take your first shot of the season. Sound familiar? If so, Downfall Outdoors is for you. We combine the different seasons you love with high quality products you need to enjoy your time in the great outdoors. Whether it’s making your way along the fallen trees of the Rockies in search of an elusive bull or watching your first deer come into view, we have the products and accessories to make your outing a success. At the end of the day, it comes down to one thing – being able to call that elk, grunting a deer, or screaming a comeback call to the flock of ducks flying above. No matter what your need is, Downfall Outdoors is here to have your back.
Our Story
I love the outdoors. For as long as I can remember, I have been in the wilderness hunting, fishing, or camping across the United States and beyond. My earliest recollections are of waking up camp side to the smell of breakfast cooking over the fire and fresh coffee simmering in the pot. I have wonderful memories of the old hunting cabin that provided my family protection from the elements for many generations. I learned to walk on the back trails of the high mountains. I could cast a line before I could read. I had my first kill before I could even drive. Along the way, I was taught that most trusted equipment to have was always the handmade items my family would create. As I grew, I learned the skills needed to continue the tradition of making the flies, calls, and accessories to be out in the rough for a week or longer. Over time, I perfected my craft.
My journey has taken me from being a student of the craft to the creation of Downfall Outdoors. I take a great deal of pride in each of the projects I begin. Each of my products are made, by hand, at my shop in Waco, Texas. I create, cast, pour, and colorize all my products. If I am tasked with a project that requires additional resources, I purchase only 100%, America made materials beginning with local materials to help drive my community’s economy. Ultimately, it all comes down to whether your equipment will work or not. With Down Fall Outdoors, we take all your worries away.
